One of the great aspects to SharePoint is the ability to include “features” – my immediate exposure to this area has been for “workflows” – to turn on the OOB (out-of-box) workflows within a particular Site Collection.
Well, the K2[blackpearl] components are also installed as “features” – just need to click Activate.

to install the k2 tasklist webpart, go to solution management in sharepoint central admin. this is not available from the k2 admin page.
